What is Fit Identity

Oh, you want to know more about ME?  

What I’m all about:

I help people who want to live a happy and healthy life transform their bodies, and their lives, by getting out of the comfort zone and into the power zone where they can achieve extraordinary results.

So how did I get here?   

I was drawn to this industry because of my childhood experiences.  I was underweight my entire life growing up. I know, roll your eyes.  Most people struggle with being overweight. But it was a real challenge for me.  I was the shortest kid in school and couldn’t gain weight. I had all kinds of insecurities about it.  I was also a little different than the other kids. I even had the nickname “Chex” because I always wore plaid clothes.  I was unique.

I worked hard to overcome a sense of inadequacy about my weight by becoming an athlete.  I pride myself in that label to this day. The thing is, I was consistently coming up short in the goals I set for myself early on – despite considerable achievements in both fitness and in life.  Why?

I had a lot of fear.  (What if I don’t succeed?)   

I had great excuses too.  My genetics. My intelligence.  My self-diagnosed ADD. Lack of a strong family unit.   

I came up with every excuse possible, and I mean EVERYTHING!  I wondered why others were finding success in a way that I couldn’t.   

And then it hit me.  

I realized I was a smart guy, but I had no process.  I wasn’t educated about how to be successful. I didn’t understand that I was getting in my own way.  My choices didn’t support what I was trying to achieve.

It was only then that I made the commitment to learn how to succeed.   Not only for myself but to help others as well. In this journey of learning how to succeed and helping others I created Fit Identity.  

It’s simple and it breaks down to three words:

THINK*EAT*MOVE*
